Presenting With Impact

( Perfecting your presentation delivery )
The As professionals, who deliver information, we constantly seek ways to add interest and dimension to our presentations. It ranges from glossy handout, to background music, to multimedia applications, and more. Whatever we use, we should master it – it should not master us but enhance or delivery.

This presentation demonstrates the ways to use Microsoft PowerPoint (a blessing from some, and a curse from many) constructively and properly. See how it can interact with the written documents and support materials that will help you close the deal; how proper planning of the sales document can automatically prepare your presentation; how the pictorial display of sales data differs depending on the points your are making; and how you can plan multiple presentations at one time (tailored to your various audiences). PowerPoint is a “powerful” tool – but so often misused. If you are using PowerPoint in your next presentation, let’s make sure you are using it and that it is not using you.

Networking for Success

Webster includes “to cover” in its definition of networking. This may be far more appropriate than you realize. After all what actually is networking? Should it come naturally? How do you do it? Why do you do it? How do you explain those butterflies that you get when you try? There are so many questions. As we examine some of the concepts of networking, our focus will be on obtaining the maximum benefit from those minimized moments that we spend in the presence of others.

Come prepared to be involved; to experience the personal and professional benefits of Networking for Success; and to leave ready to do it. .At the end of the networking class, participants should be able to:

  • Establish specified networking goals
  • Plan their networking approach
  • Network with greater ease
